LEAF REPORT: February 2018

Winter is in full swing and LEAF is planning and preparing for the 2018 season.

The City will no longer be our contractor for the LEAF program.  The ECA Board of Directors and the LEAF team will be responsible for hiring contractors to carry out all the care, maintenance, and enhancements for the community of Edgemont.  The City will remain responsible for managing the tax levy.  The City Parks Department will be available to guide us and monitor our program.  This is a new venture for the ECA and all the LEAF communities.  We feel very confident that this will provide us with even better control of the program.

We have had a hit and run incident with one of our concrete planter pots on the median on Edgemont Blvd over Christmas.  It is located just past the Centex gas station and in front of the condo buildings, close to Shaganappi Trail. The vehicle will have damage to its front end. Anyone who may have any information about this incident please contact askleaf@edgemont.ab.ca.

Here is a picture review of our community from 2017.

ECA LEAF team,

Jo-Ann and Helen
